Gibson Les Paul 59 "Danger Burst" Collectors Choice CC #45 (2016)

The “Danger Burst”, limited to 300 specimens, is one of the guitars from the Collectors Choice series that only very rarely appears on the second-hand market. So it's all the better that we can offer you serial number 31 today. With this Paula the Gibson Custom Shop has produced an exact replica of a particularly exciting 1959 Les Paul Standard from an unknown collector, which saw the light of day under the original serial number 9 0676. The red color pigments of the original Cherry Sunburst have been completely “faded” over the years, only a slight brown shimmer can still be seen at the edges. Laser scans of the original and meticulous studies of the material and finish have made it possible to achieve a level of fidelity to the original that is rarely found. Whether it's the artfully aged hardware or the handwound pickups with their rich, powerful sound - everything about this instrument is just right! Complete with True Historic specs, super authentic aging, great binding (True Historic Cream Rolled) and Custombucker Alnico III pickups. The neck has a grippy '59 profile with rounded shoulders, slightly thicker than the typical '59 Medium profile, but by no means too strong. It plays great in combination with a top weight of just 3720 grams and the slightly higher frets! On the amp the sun really rises here as the extremely resonant guitar comes across very directly with a great tone that is immediately reminiscent of the characteristic Bonamassa sounds. Simply all-round a fantastic CC guitar with a fantastic top grain, the best sound and optimum playing characteristics, which also offers the highest value retention due to its rarity. It doesn't get any better than this! The Les Paul is in top condition.
