This dream Paula has a phenomenally grained top, beautiful bookmatching and a super authentic finish in Slow Ice Tea Fade. The complete aging was done by Tom Murphy himself and of course he did a great job again. At first glance it looks quite subtle on the front, but on closer inspection you can see countless small and tiny hairline cracks, characteristic quirks, abrasions in the significant places and of course Tom Murphy has also left his initials in the finish below the potentiometer knobs. Even dry played you can tell that this is an extremely good Paula. And at the amp this Les Paul shows a sound dimension that you have to have experienced. Every playing nuance is reproduced, fantastic tone, super fast response, smacking, differentiated PAF sound with great harmonics and enough mids. Whether singing high-gain, slightly distorted Blues or grippy clean sounds, here you get everything in top form!
