As number 5 in the Collectors Choice series it is the exact replica of the '59 Burst with serial number 9 1923, owned by Tom Wittrock, and was built entirely to True Historic specs. "Donna" is certainly one of the most beautiful Collectors Choice guitars. This is due to the fact that the red component in the Sunburst of the original is extremely pronounced and in no way faded, which is therefore also the case with the replica. The subtle aging with a multitude of hairline cracks as well as quirks and dents in the characteristic places creates a super authentic vintage look and the slightly higher frets in conjunction with the Medium '59 neck profile and the rounded shoulders ensure the best playing characteristics, so that you won't want to put this dream Paula down. The sound of this Les Paul, which is limited to 300 specimens, is also impressive across the board. The guitar is incredibly resonant, even when played dry you can recognize the outstanding sound qualities. Then on the amp, the Custombuckers deliver what the unamplified sound promises.
