It comes from Gibson's Murphy Lab, where employees personally trained by Tom Murphy subject guitars to the artificial aging process according to his guidelines based on decades of experience. This Les Paul comes in the Ultra Light version, in which hairline cracks in the varnish, a patinated finish and individual blemishes are the main features. Many things can only be seen at second glance or from the right angle. However, the phenomenal top grain immediately catches the eye, offering new details in an extremely three-dimensional way from every perspective.
