The Gibson Limited Edition 1959 Les Paul Standard VOS Patch Burst features a very rare burst finish that recreates the fading of the brand new Cherry Sunburst in the windows of many 1950s guitar stores. A slightly darker spot below the toggle switch marks the area that was protected from the sun and has not faded as much. Just like the Collectors Choice Redeye in a more intensive form. All historically correct '59 specifications are used here. Accordingly, the electric guitar has a light mahogany body with a stylish fiddleback maple top and a one-piece mahogany neck with long tenon neck and rosewood fretboard. In addition, the use of Hide-Glue guarantees a particularly lively sound, while the C-shaped, not too strong "'59 Historic Reissue" profile provides optimal playing characteristics. The two Alnico III custombuckers provide authentic vintage sounds in the style of the legendary PAFs with very organic dynamics. When we shot the video, there was a very positive aha effect for the first time. Killer sound! Smacks really nice, is very direct and has an awesome sound! The guitar is in top condition. The previous owner has exchanged the original poti knobs for Art of Aging poti knobs in the style of Gary Moore.
