Gibson Les Paul 59 Standard Kirk Hammett "Greeny" (2023)

After the last "Greeny" was sold immediately we went on the search again and are extremely pleased to be able to offer you another specimen of this guitar, which was only produced in extremely limited numbers by the Gibson Custom Shop. The '59 Les Paul "Greeny" in its current appearance has been in the hands of Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett since 2014. This is certainly the most legendary and world-famous Paula, which has written music history in the hands of Peter Green and Gary Moore. "Albatross" and "Parisienne Walkways" are the tunes associated with this musical icon, which now continues to see the light of day on the biggest stages with Kirk Hammett. And the one at hand blew us away again in terms of its finish and top. It's truly incredible how authentically the guys at the Murphy Lab have recreated the look of the original and how detail-oriented they have replicated the real "Greeny". From characteristic paint scratches and significant abrasions to the carved "KH" initials on the back - they've done an amazing job here! In addition, this absolutely iconic Paula with an ideal weight of 4020 grams and its pleasant medium "Custom Greeny" neck profile offers the very best playing characteristics. And there's probably no need to mention its absolutely killer sound. It really kicks ass at the amp including the characteristic "out of phase" sound. The Les Paul is incredibly direct and open. You can work excellently with the tone and of course the neck pickup sings phenomenally, so that Gary would be delighted. "Still Got the Blues" at its very best! The guitar comes from collector's hand and is in mint, almost unplayed condition.
