It is with great pleasure that we are once again able to offer you a very special treat: a Paula from 1993, hand-painted by Tom Murphy himself, i.e. from the so-called "Good Wood" era, in which the roots of the Gibson Custom Shop lie. It's not for nothing that the prices of these extremely rare instruments keep rising in recent years. For me, these are the Bursts of the future! They are among the most beautiful, best-sounding and perfect Les Pauls I have ever held. This one immediately captivates with its incredible top grain, perfect bookmatching and an enchanting color gradient from yellow-gold to deep red at the top edge. The paint job was done by Tom Murphy himself, who painted only the first 25(!) '59 reissues himself in 1993. That gives this Les Paul not only a great look but of course also a considerable rarity and collector value. Furthermore, this guitar comes with a not too strong '59 medium neck profile, which is great in the hand and offers fatigue-free playing comfort. At the time Gibson also used the slightly higher frets, which combined with the excellent weight of this Les Paul has a very positive effect on playability. In addition there is its open and resonant sound. The guitar - equipped with "Classic 57" pickups - smacks, sings, is differentiated, delivers an extremely direct response and a really classy tone. So, in addition to the obvious collector aspects and the appreciation potential it also offers all the qualities you would want from a fantastic player guitar! This means you have to be quick as Tom Murphy painted Les Pauls from the "Good Wood" era are almost impossible to come by. This dream Paula from collector's hand, for which there was no certificate at that time, is in absolute top condition.
