The unique hue is breathtaking and the slightly narrower grain pattern reveals a new visual nuance from every angle. Of course Tom Murphy has once again done a masterful job, adding the finest hairline cracks across the finish, minor imperfections in characteristic areas and even his initials beneath the control knobs. Its comfortable '59 Medium profile sits perfectly in the hand and its superb weight of just 3760 grams along with "True Historic" specs like select woods, hide glue and a super-thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish etc., all contribute to ensuring top-notch playability.
