Prices of over EUR 10,000 are now being asked for these rare gems and of course they come with the characteristic "True Historic" specs such as selected woods, hide-glue etc. As expected the extremly rare Heavy-Aging of Master Tom Murphy is phenomenal. Countless hairline cracks, abrasions and minor and major blemishes adorn the super authentic Burst finish and certainly Tom Murphy's initials below the poti knobs should not be missing. ...and it looks like Billy Gibbons' "Pearly Gates"! The 59 Medium neck profile sits wonderfully in the hand and together with an ideal weight of just 3830 grams ensures the best playability. The guitar vibrates already dry at its very best. On the amp this Paula shows what it is really made of. The previous owner had the original pickups replaced with Monty's PAF humbuckers, which we certainly took into account when setting the price. But on the other hand these pickups are completely inspiring with a super response and a great smacking tone, beautifully differentiated. Perfect PAF tone that combines the sonic richness of a humbucker with the clarity of a singlecoil. This ensures a harmonically rich, open tone with great versatility. Just the way you want a top Paula to sound! Otherwise this Les Paul is including the frets in top condition and should not be missed as the ultimate complete package.
