Gibson Les Paul 60 Reissue VOS Tangerine Burst (2019)

This 60s Les Paul from the Historic series comes with all the specs a burst lover could ask for: Gorgeous widely flamed top, dark rosewood fingerboard with authentic inlays, Paper-In-Oil capacitors, historically accurate Gibson logo, a dream weight of 3860 grams, and a neck with the comfortable slim-taper profile, but which is not as flat as the typical slim tapers. More like between a 59s and 60s neck. The only difference with a new Les Paul is that the previous owner swapped out the original Custombuckers for '57 Classic Plus Humbuckers. Reason: The unwaxed custombuckers gave him too much feedback on distorted sounds. But even with the new pickups, the guitar cuts a fine figure sonically. The '57 Classic come with higher output power and make the Les Paul a real beast for rock and even hard rock sounds. But even clean and slightly distorted, the pickups deliver a transparent, pearly and pleasantly compressed tone for blues, jazz and pop. So it hasn't lost anything in terms of versatility, except that it now also masters all degrees of distortion with flying colors. Other relics from previous ownership include some belt buckle scratches on the back and minimal playing marks on the front, but these were hard to capture photographically. Since the original pickups are unfortunately no longer included, we can offer you the guitar at an exceptionally good price.
