In 2021 the Gibson Custom Shop has released an exact replica of his 1976 Les Paul Deluxe in a limited edition of only 100 pieces. We are happy to offer you here the single-digit serial number #005(!). Regarding the aging Gibson has done a great job: small and smallest hairline cracks, all signs of wear and even all original stickers have been recreated. The neck, which gives the appearance of having been played for decades, has the typical '76 profile (Mike Ness Custom profile), so it is rather slimmer. Also typical of the '76 Goldtops is the two-piece sandwich body and three-piece neck. Besides the unmistakable look this Les Paul also impresses with the best sound and playing characteristics. With a dream weight of 3960 grams this Norlin replica already vibrates above average when dry. And connected to the amp the P90 pickups deliver direct, merciless rock sounds at their best.
