Gibson SG Junior 62 Brian Ray White Fox (2020)
Gibson SG Junior 62 Brian Ray White Fox (2020)
Brian Ray is probably known to most of you as Paul McCartney's guitarist. His years of experience are reflected in the ingenuity of this SG Junior model. The guitar can be played both as a tremolo SG and with a fixed bridge. The clever design of the convertible bridge offers the player the choice between a Tune-O-Matic ABR-1 and a wrap tail bridge, as well as a Vibrola tremolo, ...in the time it normally takes to change the strings. The pickguard also conceals a passive induction coil that uses a push/push pot to reduce noise and hum at high gain settings while retaining the tone of the powerful P-90 pickup. The neck has a pleasantly stronger profile. Simply pure Rock n' Roll sound! Very differentiated, crisp, typical P90 sound. Ideal for all kinds of Rock riffs. But also great clean and by no means too harsh or shrill. Simply a great sound and ideally suited for all those, who like to vary the tone with the velocity. The characteristic white body is slightly thicker than a regular SG in order to amplify the low and mid frequencies. And of course the looks speak for themselves! The guitar comes to its future owner in top original condition. ...and since this is serial number 22 and thus one of the first 50 specimens of this model, the certificate was handsigned by Brian Ray.
