When we opened the case of this magnificent instrument, only one word came to mind: "Guitar Porn"! What a sight to behold! A stunning finish in vibrant "Candy Apple Red" with gold hardware, a Bigsby vibrato, jewel control knobs, mother-of-pearl half-moon inlays on the deep, dark ebony fretboard and a binding of orange mother-of-pearl hump inlays on the body, fretboard and headstock. Wow! But since this is a semi-hollow made of the finest maple, crafted by legendary Masterbuilder Stephen Stern, the superlatives aren't limited to its looks. The phenomenal appearance is surpassed only by its sound and playability. Perfectly dressed frets, a perfectly straight neck with a comfortable medium profile. The Bigsby works flawlessly, as expected, and the DeArmond pickups deliver the typically fat, shimmering, open sound that's characteristic of original vintage Gretsch guitars. Offering the warmth and fullness of a PAF humbucker, yet also the clarity and snappiness of a singlecoil, these pickups deliver a fantastic crunchy sound with overdrive, ideal for Rock rhythms. Extremely dynamic with an excellent response to overdrive and fuzz without ever sounding muddy. This results in a high degree of versatility allowing you to cover a wide range of musical styles. The guitar is in top condition and is definitely our recommendation for anyone looking for that classic vintage Gretsch sound, but doesn't want to compromise on the finest, modern craftsmanship of master Stephen Stern.

We ship throughout Europe with insured DHL shipping. Worldwide shipping is also possible on request, but must be checked individually depending on the instrument and region.

Of course, you can also try out guitars in our store and take them home directly. Please contact us by phone (+49-89-64954031) or email to find a suitable appointment. In our in-house amp room, you can play guitars through many different amps and pedals.
