Its tone is a wonderful blend of balanced clarity and powerful projection with a soft, rich bass response. This instrument is larger than the Parlor, but smaller than the Concert Jumbo. It has a singing, lyrical treble with excellent sustain and fits comfortably in the hand. Although it is a small guitar the Grand Concert does not have the tight, nasal tone quality in the mids and bass that is generally associated with smaller guitars. While the Grand Concert is considered ideal for fingerstyle players due to its sensitive, dynamic response it is also suitable for flatpickers or pick players with the right combination of tonewoods.
