Luxxtone Choppa S Sunburst HSS (2016)

Today we are pleased to bring you a bonafide Rock grenade from the house of Luxxtone. Luxxtone Guitars describe themselves as "a true California custom brand dedicated to combining the best vintage designs of the past with the modern innovations of today. In doing so Luxxtone guitars are made with only the highest quality parts and materials, paired with in-house hardware and designs. Each and every guitar is a custom creation by luthier Jerry Bizon, with Luxxtone excelling in extreme attention to detail from perfectly flat and mirror-smooth frets to unique finishes, as well as custom hardware. And so it shows with this "rocked out" Choppa S HSS, which comes to its future owner in a wonderful "3-Tone Sunburst". Classic vintage look with the extremely detail-oriented heavy-aged body made of "Swamp Ash" and a fingerboard made of Indian rosewood. The back of the neck was also designed with an aged appearance in mind, with an "aged oil" finish. You can see at all corners and edges with which meticulousness Jerry Bizon manufactures his fantastic instruments. And that, of course, continues with the playing characteristics and sound of this Strat-style. The "Vintage-C" neck profile (0.83''-0.92'') is super comfortable in the hand and plays buttery smooth in conjunction with the modern 10''-14'' fretboard radius and the aged, haptically optimized neck back. But the absolute highlight of this HSS is experienced when plugged into the amp: crisp, crunchy singlecoil sound meets merciless humbucker Rock board! The two "Arcane Hippy Whip" pickups in the neck and middle position come across crystal clear, pearly and open. And the "Arcane Luxxbucker Hot" humbucker at the bridge delivers so much that you want to unpack the next riff of Van Halen or Iron Maiden immediately. So, here you have a real Hardrock grenade, where look, playability and sound form a perfect symbiosis. The previous owner upgraded the tuners to Washburn locking tuners and thus we are happy to offer you this killer guitar in top condition with only minimal playing traces.
