Music Man Axis Burnt Amber (2022)

A Music Man Axis is like a wellness vacation for the hands of every Rock guitarist. Hardly any other guitar manages to be so compact, so comfortable and yet so fat in sound. And when it comes in such a beautiful guise as this specimen with a flamed “Burnt Amber” top on a lime body and highly flamed maple neck, it is also the visual highlight of any stage. However, this version of the 2022 leaves nothing to be desired in terms of looks - the specs also ensure that this is the ultimate Rock workhorse. The neck does not only look pretty, but also comes in the “roasted” version, which makes it much less sensitive to weather and climatic influences. The Music Man Double Locking Tremolo also ensures detuning-free operation under all conditions. Two DiMarzio Custom humbuckers are responsible for the sound, which is incredibly fat and creamy. Although the Axis only weighs just over 3 kg, it doesn't have to hide from the sound of even the fattest Les Paul. Added to this is the perfect playability with sculpted neck joint and a (not too slim) shred neck. If you need the perfect workhorse, you can't go wrong with this guitar. Apart from a tiny play mark on the back of the body (see photo 17) the guitar is in top condition.
