This Custom 24 with a beautiful maple 10 top is an absolute highlight, not only visually but also in terms of sound. In addition to the enchantingly grained top it features a mahogany body and neck and a fingerboard made of East Indian rosewood with the characteristic bird inlays. With its neck profile, corresponding to today's “Pattern Thin”, the fingerboard sits really well in the hand and invites you to whiz across it. The workmanship is of course once again of the very highest PRS standard and the sound of the guitar leaves nothing to be desired. The proven pickup combination of “HFS Treble” on the bridge and “Vintage Bass” on the neck is used, which is managed via a 5-way rotary control. Incredible sound variety as this also provides wonderfully sparkling singlecoil sounds. This Custom 24 is characterized by great tonal clarity and a perfect treble and bass spectrum. Whether singing lead, heavy rhythm or open Blues sounds, this PRS is at home in every style of music in the very best way. So it is of course no wonder that this top player has been played extensively and with pleasure, which is already reflected in its phenomenal vibration behavior, but apart from a few minor signs of use the guitar comes including the frets in top condition to its future owner. Since PRS only marked the twelfth fret with one dot until 1998, the previous owner had two more professionally added to optimize the guitar's playing characteristics - especially for live use.
