We've certainly seen many exceptional finishes from Paul Reed Smith's Private Stock vault, but this exclusive "Faded Frostbite" finish definitely takes the cake! The color gradient and contrast of the enchanting "One Piece Quilted Maple" top continues onto the headstock and fretboard. The beautiful quilted maple and ebony fretboard, in particular, captivates with its diverse, contrasting bird inlays ("Birds of a Feather" inlays) that appear to be fleeing from a black bird of prey on the headstock. A brilliant idea, perfectly executed! Of course the other specs also complement the exclusivity of this magnificent instrument. The neck is crafted from the finest mahogany while the body is made of high-grade ribbon mahogany, revealing different facets depending on the light. So, if you're looking for a visual stunner, this Custom 24 is the perfect choice! And its playing characteristics are every bit as impressive as its elegant appearance. The neck features the proven "Pattern Thin" profile, which, in our opinion is the most comfortable PRS offers. Playing this guitar is a breeze! It's equipped with two 58/15 humbuckers, controlled by a toggle switch and also splitable into singlecoils via two mini-switches. The sound is typical of PAF pickups – beautifully rich with just the right amount of mids and plenty of overtones. The singlecoil positions sound incredibly silky and crisp, making the guitar equally at home with Funk and Strat-style chords. If you're looking for a soundmighty all-around guitar that's top-notch in both appearance and feel, this is the one for you. We can offer you this guitar except for minimal signs of use in excellent condition.
