PRS Custom 24 Ltd. "Experience Days" 10-Top Maple Neck Violin Amber (2013)

Every year PRS opens its doors in Stevensville, USA, and offers an exciting program of free factory tours, interactive guitar building with the Private Stock team and evening concerts. As a special treat several strictly limited edition guitar models are built for this event. This was also the case in 2013 when only 30 specimens of this PRS Custom 24 10-Top "Experience Days" were made for the occasion. Already visually it is really special with its beautifully grained 10-top in Violin Amber Sunburst, brightly flamed maple neck and deep dark ebony fingerboard. Best playability is guaranteed by its optimally shaped mahogany body and the proven "Pattern Thin" neck profile, super pleasant and comfortable. Add to that the two legendary 57/08 humbuckers, inspired by classic 1957 humbuckers and wound in-house by Paul Reed Smith with vintage-style wire, and this Custom 24 is a perfect Rock and Blues monster. An extremely varied tone is guaranteed by the 5-way switch, which allows you to combine and split the humbuckers in a versatile way. Friends of noble guitars certainly know the dilemma when you buy a great instrument and could slap yourself after the first inevitable quirk. In the case of the present guitar the previous owner has already taken over this unpleasant task and thus the guitar and case show a few clear signs of use, which we - as well as the missing hangtags - have of course taken into account in the price. Otherwise, the instrument including the frets is in top condition.
