These pickups were the breakthrough for PRS in trying to achieve the sound of old humbuckers and they actually sound fantastic with a remarkable clarity, perfect for juicy Rock and Blues sounds! What's more, the possibility of splitting the humbuckers into bell-like, pearly singlecoils gives you an extremely wide range of tones. This opens up an almost inexhaustible variety of humbucker and singlecoil sounds: from singing lead and heavy rhythm sounds to funky intermediate positions and warm, open Blues neck sounds, everything is possible! In addition, the guitar fits perfectly in the hand and on the body with the proven “Wide Thin” neck profile and its contoured body, which makes fatigue-free playing for several hours a real challenge.
