This "wood library" allows dealers to match the woods of their PRS Core guitars to their own tastes, allowing them to design and order special one-of-a-kind pieces. Such is the case here: this Custom 24 with an intensely grained cloud maple 10-Top in Charcoal Burst with Cherry has as additionally charged options an unvarnished roasted curly maple neck, as well as a Ziricote fingerboard with birds inlays that give this guitar a truly special look. Due to the extremely comfortable "Pattern Thin" neck profile combined with the 24 frets and the patented PRS tremolo system it plays like butter; you whiz across the fretboard and don't want to put this dream guitar down. Of course the sound matches the appearance: the 85/15-pickups, which were developed by Paul Reed Smith himself, offer a balanced and at the same time assertive sound with an extended high and low frequency range and are extremely versatile. Whether it's Blues, Jazz or Heavy Rock these pickups make you feel at home in all styles of music. The list price of this guitar at the beginning of 2022 was EUR 6000.
