The collaboration between blues virtuoso David Grissom and PRS is one of the most enduring in the guitar business. His PRS signature model is therefore available in countless versions. Here we have the noble Private Stock version with tremolo (DGT stands for David Grissom Tremolo) and a very special choice of wood. The body is made of swamp ash, the grain of which has been extremely emphasised, as you can see on the back. The neck and fingerboard come in a rare cocobolo, which, in combination with the curly maple top, creates a truly unique look. The first time you play it, it becomes clear what calibre of guitar you are dealing with: The DGT sounds incredibly present, tight and balanced without an amp. Amplified, the DGT humbuckers provide a classic PAF sound with plenty of depth in the tone.
