The singlecut model of the McCarty 594 combines authentic vintage sounds and the familiar feel of classic instruments with the manufacturing precision of Paul Reed Smith's Core series. Developed by the Private Stock team, this design was named after its 24.594" scale length and offers the perfect balance between playability and response. We're delighted to present a particularly beautiful McCarty 594 Singlecut here, captivating with its elegant gloss finish, phenomenal top figuring and refined chrome-gold hardware. The mahogany neck with "Pattern Vintage" profile sits great in the hand, accommodates both classic and modern playing techniques and in combination with the substantial heel ensures long sustain and resonant tones. The two "58/15 LT" humbuckers feature a comparatively lower wind count, which – due to the resulting lighter output – grants these pickups a far greater dynamic range and especially in quieter settings enormous vocal qualities. Those who prefer to crank up the gain will be rewarded with a broad and juicy yet defined sound with strong low-mids. Both pickups can also be switched to coil-split mode via push/pull function on the tone pots for clear and airy singlecoil sounds. This lets you cover all musical styles from Rock and Blues to Jazz in first-class fashion! This perfectly swung-in top-tier player has been played often and with enthusiasm, which is evidenced by some light playing wear and minor scratches (mainly on the back). Otherwise, the guitar is in top condition and the frets – showing only light playing wear – promise many more years of pure playing joy.
