Exceptional figured curly maple top. The wood selection reads like a Who's Who of fine woods ... Ziricote fingerboard with curly maple binding, Figured Mahogany neck and African Ribbon Mahogany for the body. Add to that Mother of pearl inlays with paua outline and the Mother of Pearl Private Stock Eagle with paua outlines. The neck has the Pattern Vintage Shape, which is very close to a 59 Les Paul profile, so it's more of a grippy neck. Plays like a dream with the perfect frets. The pickups used are 58/15 and they complement the above average, dry sound characteristics perfectly. The guitar has an incredibly good tone with a super frequency spectrum.
