PRS McCarty Tobacco Burst Rosewood Neck (2006)

I didn't want to put this PRS down. What a sound! The previous owner replaced the pickups with a super combination: a handwound Seymour Duncan “Antiquity Jeff Beck” at the bridge and the classic Seymour Duncan “SH-1 59” at the neck. Unfortunately the original pickups are no longer included, but this McCarty rocks! An incredible frequency spectrum at the bridge! Smacking, singing, percussive with a killer tone. And at the neck, pure Gary Moore's “Still Got the Blues”! The potentiometers were also replaced with higher-quality Seymour Duncans (no push/pull function). In addition, a BumbleBee capacitor and a treble bleed are used. This makes the guitar respond superbly to the volume control and is ideal for distorted sounds by simply turning down the volume without becoming muffled. The neck feels great in your hand. Thanks to the solid rosewood with a superb response and slight compression, just like the old Les Pauls. A dream player, which is why it has been played a lot. As a result the guitar has a few quirks, especially on the back, but the frets are still in very good condition as is the whole guitar, which is otherwise extremely well maintained. To ensure optimal tuning stability the tuners have been replaced with high-quality Kluson locking tuners (without additional drill holes).
