PRS Santana 10-Top Wood Library (2014)

This particular model features exclusive woods from the company's own "Wood Library." It's no surprise that it also boasts a 10-Top, a designation reserved for guitars with the most beautifully grained top woods. The attractive mahogany body has a medium-brown finish that allows the wood grain to show through and it features the characteristic Santana-specific "Solid Green Ripple Abalone" inlays, gold-colored hardware and a perfectly textured, deep-dark ebony fretboard with the legendary bird inlays and the comfortable, medium Santana profile. The maple neck gives the guitar an extra dose of crispness and percussiveness, even when played acoustically. This is also audible through the amp. The two Santana pickups deliver a rich, full humbucker sound, but with plenty of upper mids and a wealth of overtones, so there's absolutely no muddiness. Instead you're dealing with a sparkling, direct, and lively guitar that covers everything from shimmering clean tones to screaming solos in top form. Mid-focused, punchy and yet transparent! Combined with typical PRS features like a tuning-stable tremolo and locking tuners, you get a beauty queen with exceptional practicality. To further optimize this gem the previous owner made several upgrades. He had professional push/pull pots installed, allowing you to enjoy beautiful singlecoil sounds as well. He also added charming pickup rings made of light-colored wood and practical strap locks (original parts are included).
