Since 1985 Paul Reed Smith has proven with his fantastic electric guitars that he can build guitars very well. But for some years now he has also been playing in the absolute top league in the acoustic field. Every time we get our hands on one of his acoustics we are really completely thrilled. This is also the case with this PRS Tonare Grand from 2012, a wonderful instrument with the best workmanship and phenomenal sound qualities. The body of this Tonare Grand is made of Figured Mahogany, the top is a European Spruce top, the neck is made of Peruvian Mahogany and the fingerboard is made of Cocobolo wood. Of course with the typical PRS bird inlays. Nicely full, warm sound with enough highs and pleasant harmonics. Responds very well and all strings can be heard perfectly balanced. In addition it plays fantastic and feels great in the hand. Except for minimal play marks the guitar is in top condition.
