Panucci 59 Inspired Korina Madagascar Rosewood (2021)
Panucci 59 Inspired Korina Madagascar Rosewood (2021)
Panucci guitars have rightfully generated a real hype in recent years. This is primarily due to the sound and playability they offer in comparison to significantly more expensive models from competitors. This is certainly true of the '59-Inspired model at hand: a beautifully grained maple top with an attractive "Faded Burst" finish, perfect aging, soundmighty Korina body and neck, as well as a fingerboard made of rare Madagascar rosewood featuring an infinity inlay. The guitar is equipped with Panucci's own "PAF" pickups, which compared to the current pickups from their famous Nashville rivals emphasize the high frequencies more. This comes remarkably close to the sound of vintage PAFs. Furthermore, this semi-hollow guitar with its characteristic trapezoidal tailpiece sounds incredibly rich and three-dimensional – a true joy, whether played clean or distorted. The neck also fits perfectly in the hand with its '58 profile, which feels only a touch thicker than a Medium '59. Thanks to the perfectly dressed stainless steel frets this '59-Inspired plays so smoothly you won't want to put it down. This is undoubtedly also due to its ideal weight of just 3070 grams. As is well known, only about 30 Panucci guitars are made each year, so you'll need to act fast to secure this magnificent instrument in top condition.
