When we opened the case of this Panucci '59 Inspired and saw the phenomenally figured top and the beautiful color, we were speechless. Even by Angelo van Merrienboer's standards this is an exceptionally beautiful instrument that as expected meets the highest demands in terms of sound and playability. A super attractive and perfectly aged "Faded Burst" finish, a dreamy "Vintage Eastern Maple" top and a fretboard made of the rare, deep-dark "Madagascar Rosewood"! The pickups are Panucci's own humbuckers, which compared to their famous Nashville counterparts emphasize the highs more. This comes incredibly close to the old PAFs. The guitar sounds incredibly woody and three-dimensional – whether clean or distorted, it's always sonic heaven. The neck also nails the feel of a '59 Burst with its medium '59 profile. Thanks to its perfectly leveled frets and a fantastic weight of just 3672 grams the '59 Inspired plays incredibly smoothly, making it hard to put down. Because Angelo van Merrienboer handcrafts each guitar to the highest quality standards, fewer than 30 instruments leave his workshop each year. So you'll have to be quick!
