Gerhard Schwarz from Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate region of Bavaria has been one of Germany's up-and-coming guitar makers for several years now. Although still comparatively young in years he produces great reminiscences of well-known guitar models with great attention to detail. And so it is only logical that you can read about his work more and more often in the big magazines. The conclusion is always the same: top marks!!! So today we are delighted to be able to offer you a super exclusive Deuce Summit from his workshop, which comes with an optional Brazilian rosewood fingerboard (of course with the necessary CITES certification). An absolutely outstanding guitar that is not only made from the best woods, but above all impresses with its fantastic sound. The wonderfully light body and neck are made of Honduran mahogany and together with the Brazilian rosewood fingerboard ensure fast tone development and exemplary vibration behavior. The pickups used here are “HB 60” humbuckers from Kloppmann, which deliver cool, earthy 1970s Rock sounds. Clean you get a lot of transparency with no muffle and distorted the party really gets going: fat, distorted riffs blow towards you with a punch and an attack that makes you lose sight and above all hearing. Nevertheless, there is enough warmth at all times to be able to fire off singing lead sounds in the best possible manner. The guitar never sounds shrill or thin, but simply perfectly balanced. And this gem with its slightly more powerful "Chunky 59" neck profile, the "Ferdinand Wagner 9662" frets and a dream weight of just 3020 grams is also excellent to play, especially because the frets are simply phenomenally dressed. But the most striking thing about this perfect overall package is probably the phenomenal look. Masterbuilder Gerhard Schwarz has skillfully added countless lacquer cracks and a few dings and dongs to this fine specimen, so that the vintage sound and look together create a wonderfully rounded picture. And the color of the "All Gold" finish alone is a real poem - you certainly don't see anything like it very often! This exclusive Deuce Summit comes including the frets in top condition to its future owner, who can already be congratulated on this super rare and enormously soundmighty beauty.
