Radical design with maximum practical value - this is how the guitars of the Swede Ola Strandberg can be summarized. The Boden Original 6 Natural, with its six strings and passive humbuckers, is still on the more "traditional" side of Strandberg's lineup. Here you get the mix of classic sound and ergonomic design. What advantages this has, you notice from the first moment you have the guitar in your hand. No matter in which angle you hold it, the instrument is perfectly balanced - no matter if you place it diagonally on your thigh, for which there is an extra recess in the body, classically in a sitting position or on the strap. Sensational is the feel of the neck, which is called EndurNeck. As you can see from the photos, it doesn't have a traditionally round profile, but an angular one that runs diagonally across the back of the neck. This allows the thumb to rest perfectly in any neck position and your wrist to be at an ergonomically healthy angle. Combined with the incredible weight of just 2kg achieved by the headless construction, this might be the ultimate guitar in terms of ergonomics and playing comfort - at least we haven't come across a better one yet. The humbuckers used here are a Suhr SSH+ at the bridge and a Suhr SSV at the neck. This gives you a pure superstrat sound that Eddie van Halen would love. Nice and open and dirty, but also warm and dynamic with crunched or clean sounds. Simply a killer instrument with innovative design, which we can offer you in mint condition!
