Suhr Alt T Vintage Natural (2018)

The “Alt T” is Suhr's own creation, giving the classic T model a new twist. On the one hand it comes as a weight-saving semi-hollow with F-holes and on the other hand it features two in-house SSV humbuckers that can be split into singlecoils using a 5-way switch. Combined with Suhr's legendary playability you really get a jack-of-all-trades that is equipped for all situations. The singlecoil sounds in particular are extremely well done here. In the two intermediate positions you get a concise, classic Tele twang that sounds as authentic as if real singlecoils were installed. And in humbucker mode the SSV humbuckers play to their classic strengths: rich and transparent with distorted sounds, warm and bluesy with less gain. The “60's C Vintage Medium” neck plays like a dream thanks to the 9-12" compound radius and the 22 perfectly dressed Stainless Steel Medium frets.
