A “Grand Concert” has a slightly smaller body shape among Taylor guitars and is extremely popular with fingerpickers. Thanks to its smaller scale length and slim waist it is super comfortable to play and offers lower string tension, making it ideal for studio and stage use. Fantastic sound for those who like it a size smaller! Wonderfully compact with a more direct, punchy sound. And it's just plain fun from the very first second! The midrange is particularly pronounced here, which means you should be easily heard in any band or studio situation. The whole thing is framed by beautifully sparkling highs and well-defined bass. The design together with the choice of wood — a solid Sitka spruce top, Indian rosewood body and sides, mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard — really hits the mark here. The neck has a very soft V-profile and is so comfortable that you don't even notice it after a few minutes of playing. Furthermore, the previous owner has made an extremely harmonious upgrade by installing the L.R. Baggs “Mi-Si Align” pickup system, which on the one hand brings the acoustic sounds to the amp in the very best way, but on the other hand fortunately uses the originally installed Taylor buttons, so that no additional drilling or attachments were necessary. The guitar has been played a lot and with great pleasure in recent years. As a result it is wonderfully broken in, but also shows a few minor signs of wear and tear. Otherwise it is in very good condition.
