Nothing sounds quite as rich as a 12-string guitar and with just one strum you'll realize this is an instrument you won't want to put down. This Taylor 955 12-string, produced from 1992 to 2003, features a Jumbo body, a solid Sitka spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, a mahogany neck and a deep, dark ebony bridge and fingerboard. The latter — along with the binding and rosette — is adorned with beautiful abalone inlays. A look to fall in love with! Thanks to its robust construction the 955 boasts considerable volume. This allows the tone to develop fully with strong mids and bass and exceptionally responsive treble. A classic, full sound with rich, but never overemphasized, basses in the lower registers, maintaining its brilliant clarity at all times. This effect is further enhanced by doubling the number of strings, allowing the acoustic to be heard in all their tonal nuances even without amplification. We have rarely heard a 12-string that could fill a room so completely with such wonderfully shimmering overtones. Its neck with its comfortable medium V profile plays so well that it feels like an electric guitar. We are therefore delighted to offer you this perfect combination of exquisite looks, superb sound and excellent playability in practically new condition
