The beautifully engraved metal plate sits in a recess on the front of the instrument, concealing the edges of the metal plate for both comfort and style. The deep dark fingerboard made of “Black African” ebony is a perfect match. In addition, the exclusive chambered wood body and custom-made metal fittings are not only beautiful to look at, but also extremely functional, for example by achieving increased sustain.
