This Tyler Classic Black comes highly recommended to anyone looking for a top-notch all-around guitar with excellent playability and sound. Tyler guitars are known for their superb craftsmanship and this Classic Black is no exception, ...perfectly dressed Jumbo frets on a "Standard '59" neck profile with a 9.5-12" compound radius. It's simply a joy to play! The neck is a bit stronger, not at all too big, but definitely better suited to those who prefer a thicker neck (.845-.975"). And tonally this is a true all-rounder. The two "JTS 5500" singlecoil pickups are exceptionally bright and shimmering, remaining beautifully defined and crisp even with high-gain sounds. A classic Hendrix bell tone! And at the bridge the Black Classic really rocks. The in-house "Secret" humbucker is instantly reminiscent of the characteristic Van Halen pickup, but with a slightly rounder, more mellow tone. It's great for open Rock riffs, but also completely convincing in high-gain solos. In short, a classic Strat with serious punch at the bridge, combined with modern features and a great feel. The guitar, produced in the USA, is including the frets in top condition except for the minimal signs of wear unavoidable on a jet-black guitar.
