I've always been a fan of PRS McCartys with solid rosewood necks. And so I'm completely thrilled with this 20th Anniversary McCarty in Trans Red. Great feel and a top-notch sound! The rosewood necks have a great response and that slight compression you know from the old Les Pauls. Very nice singing tone that quickly tips over into the overtones. The 57/08 TM pickups, which are known for their classic, singing, warm PAF sound and are named by many PRS users as their “favorite” pickup set, also contribute to this. The feel, the look, and the sound are all top notch. In addition, the instrument is beautifully broken in and in great condition. Only minor signs of wear, such as minimal belt buckle scratches, are visible. The frets are in very good condition with very slight signs of wear on the first 3 frets. Top player with a very high fun factor.
